Few experiences can compare to an adventure of canoeing the Gunnison River.  Find out how you can be a part! This 6 day trip will be unlike any other you have experienced.  It is open to those in grades 9-12 and is limited to the first 16 campers who register. 

Three days on the river will give us opportunities for hiking, exploring, wildlife viewing, fishing and camping along the river's edge.  The river course winds through canyons of high red sandstone and shale.  The river is interspersed with islands and river bends which support massive cottonwood trees and are home to golden eagles and blue herons. 

After 3 full days on the river we will be heading to Glenwood Springs.  We will be camping just outside Glenwood and will spend our time there hiking to Hanging Lake, biking the 30-mile-long Glenwood Canyon trail, and soaking in the world famous hot springs pool. 

This trip is a great placd to encounter God in a new way.  It's a chance for you to seek Him and His vision for your life.  It's an opportunity to experience His power and love through the hearing and study of His Word.  The spiritual environment of this trip will be one that challenges you to depend on Jesus and take the time to get to know Him better.  On this trip you will be challenged to draw near to God.
