About Camp Minimize

P1012945.jpgCamp Elim's location in the heart of the Pike National Forest provides a beautiful setting for fun, growth, and instruction in Biblical principles.  Camp Elim offers a friendly, safe, and fun environment in which youth and adults develop lasting friendships with other campers, with the caring staff, and with the Lord Jesus!

Camp's week-long summer programs are creatively and precisely designed to provide a full outdoor experience.  Our resident camps run from Sunday afternoon through Friday evening with campers staying in cabin groups of 8-12 kids with a counselor and jr. counselor in each cabin.  Your camper will get stretched, often-times experiencing brand new adventures.  Our caring and well-trained counselors stay with their cabin groups through all the exciting activities.  A short stretch of free time each day allows the campers opportunity to work on a craft project, go swimming, earn a patch or develop a new-found friendship.

For a look at a typical day at one of our Grade School summer camps click here.  You'll see that the day is programmed from start to finish offering campers a fun-filled, action-packed day that also points them to the Word of God and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

Off-site adventure programs are also available during the summer for high school students include Trail Camp and the Deep & Wide Canoe Trip

Of course, Camp Elim has much more to offer than just summer camps!  February and March bring Winter Weekend Retreats for Grade School, Middle School and High School

Spring brings our annual Women's RetreatScrapbooking Retreat and Work Fellowship Weekend.

In the fall we enjoy Labor Day Family Camp, College & Career Retreat and another Scrapbooking Retreat

In addition to the wide variety of programs that we offer, our facilities are also available throughout the year to schools, church groups and other non-profit organizations to host their own camps and retreats.  From outdoor ed programs to family camps and youth retreats, our goal is to come alongside the leaders and exceed their expectations for the best event they've ever experienced!  For more information about hosting your own event at Camp Elim click here.

Statement Of Faith Minimize

Camp Elim operates for the benefit of the Lord's people and exists to see people brought to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

  1. We believe in the verbal, plenary, inerrant inspiration of the Old and New Testaments as the very Word of God.
  2. We believe there is one triune God - The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His substitutionary atonement for sin, His bodily resurrection and His future, personal, visible return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory.
  4. We believe that man is by nature in rebellion against God and that he must be born again through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
  5. We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers every believer to live the Christian life and that each believer should seek to be a growing disciple of Jesus Christ in every area of life.
