Gabe Gurley is the Program Supervisor and Outdoor Education Director here at Camp Elim. He came to us in June of 2006 from Zimbabwe where he served for 6 years as Director of Huntington Retreat Center. He is a Colorado native, living and working in the Parker area before going to Africa. Gabe is creative and artistic and has a passion for the outdoors. He loves hiking, canoeing and climbing.
He is married to Cindy (Van Dellen) who served on our volunteer staff in the summers of 1993 and 1994. Gabe and Cindy also served as Head Counselors when they were home on furlough from Africa in 2002. They have three children, Spencer, Izabelle and Alistair.
